Choosing Art for Your Home:
How to Prepare for Your Portrait Viewing
Imagine this: one or two weeks after your photoshoot, you settle comfortably into my studio as your most precious moments come to life, curated into an elegant slideshow of 20–25 of the finest images. This isn’t just a viewing; it’s the first step in transforming your portraits into exquisite wall art that will grace your Essex home for years to come.
But to make this moment perfect, a little preparation goes a long way.
A Small Effort for a Stunning Result
Set aside about an hour for the viewing itself, plus travel time. This is one of those rare occasions where every minute counts; you’ll be selecting which images become part of your home’s story. And, of course, it’s essential that all decision-makers are present, after all, tastes vary!
Where Will Your Portraits Shine Brightest?
Take a stroll through your home and consider:
- The living room or the kitchen? The perfect spot for a family portrait, admired by every guest.
- Your little one’s nursery? Their first photographs, framed in timeless elegance, will become a cherished keepsake.
- The grand staircase or hallway? A gallery of portraits will add a touch of sophistication to your interiors.
Tip: Measure your walls and snap a few photos; it’ll make choosing the ideal size and format effortless.
Art Deserves Your Full Attention

Though, of course, if that’s not an option, they’re more than welcome to join. I always adore seeing them again! Your portraits aren’t just photographs, they’re a story waiting to be displayed. Let’s make it flawless.
Seamless & Sophisticated:
Your Guide to Payments and Final Selections
Picture this: your newborn photoshoot has just wrapped up, and those precious first moments are now immortalised through my lens. As we prepare for the next step, transforming these fleeting memories into heirloom artwork for your Essex home, let’s ensure everything flows as effortlessly as your bespoke experience deserves.
When Do We Make Payment?
Payment is due at the session. This ensures your order is processed without delay, allowing us to focus entirely on creating magic during our time together.
Please note: all orders are entirely bespoke and therefore final. Like a couture gown or a tailored suit, your portraits are crafted exclusively for you, which makes each piece as irreplaceable as the moments it captures.
How Can You Pay?
For your convenience, I accept:
- Cash (the classic choice)
- Bank transfer (for those who prefer digital ease)
Whichever you choose, I’m here to guide you through every decision, ensuring your selections align perfectly with your vision.
The Viewing: Where Art Comes to Life
Your viewing isn’t just an appointment, it’s the moment your portraits evolve from images into legacy pieces. To make it seamless:
- Finalise your wall art selections (this is when we lock in your package and framing choices).
- Plan ahead: If you can’t attend, kindly notify me at least 3 days prior — I’d hate for you to miss this curated experience.
Gentle reminder: Your unclaimed images are stored for just 3 months (only paid orders are archived beyond this). After that, your gallery will be respectfully withdrawn, so let’s secure those keepsakes in time.
Refining Your Order?
Should you later wish to add another piece (a parent’s prerogative!), a follow-up viewing can be arranged for £50. However, as all artwork is *made-to-order*, adjustments post-payment aren’t possible, though additions always are.
Think of it like commissioning a portrait for your ancestral home: once the brushstrokes are set, the masterpiece is yours to cherish.
Your next step? Simply arrive prepared to fall in love with your portraits all over again. The rest—I’ll handle with care.
P.S. Should questions arise, my door (and inbox) are always open—this journey is as much yours as it is mine.
